Devotion to the 7 Wounds of Christ
These are the seven arrows which killed Christ’s soul, mind and body. Please listen and be wise with all your ways in me, and follow me with all your hearts, minds, and souls like I listen to my Father. No one will be put to shame who calls me master, for I am master of all and anyone who does not listen to me is like chaff blown in the wind. So I exhort you to follow me in sight and mind and put all your ways in me, for tender care and mercy await those who follow me with all their hearts and minds.
Please know that I am God Jehovah made into man. By the sprinkling of rebirth in baptism, you may be saved so do not indulge yourselves in the principles of the world but follow me, Yahweh, Prince of Peace. For the guidance of light must come only from me and my light and hand. Amen.
The 7 sorrows of Christ’s wounds:
- Being born in a manger of no wealth.
- Being brought before the judge to be condemned to death.
- Sorrow in the garden where He wept blood droplets.
- Pierced for transgressions with heavy heart.
- The call to God, why have you forsaken me, feeling abandoned by the Father.
- Rehearsing this day after day at the mass, calling to man, “why have you forsaken me?”
- Loving neighbor for the sake of God, wishing them well on all accounts even when they hate you.
These are the sorrows of Jesus, Amen, amen. Peace be with you.
