Sensationalism has entered the Church, i.e., How to be louder, how to be more productive, how can we do this more effectively, meetings of how to do things better, “whats” and “ifs,” but none of this matters. The sole purpose of Mass is to focus on the death and burial of the supernatural savior, Jesus Christ. Not one more message will help on how to be a “better person”. Throw off the songs of happy worship- people frolicking around. Why is this? Be plain – make the Mass again about the One Sacrifice, the One atonement of God’s Son sacrificed for all.
